There’s nothing quite like watching a naturally talented dancer doing what they do best. Taking to the stage and moving their bodies to the music, they manage to mesmerize us all, captivating crowds with their seemingly effortless agility and remarkable talent for perfectly timed movements.
It’s impressive enough when we see adult dancers up on stage, but it’s even more incredible when a little kid has the confidence and skill to get up there and wow us all with their magical moves.
We often think of very young children as being delicate and fragile, with so much to learn about the world, but they can often surprise us with their maturity and talent, and little Jessica Sutton is one of the most impressive youngsters out there!
While many other kids her age are barely learning to walk and run without falling over, Jessica is taking to the stage at dance competitions and earning standing ovations for performances like this one.
Filmed in 2018, when Jessica was just 3-years-old, this video shows the adorable, teeny tiny dancer taking to the stage for her very own jazz solo performance at the Kids Artistic Revue.
She was competing in the ‘8 and Under’ age bracket, going up against kids over twice her age, but she stepped out on the stage with a bright, confident smile and a total belief in her abilities.
The classic electro track ‘I’m an Albatroz’ begins to play as Jessica, wearing a shimmering, shining golden outfit, takes to the stage and starts to twirl.
Her routine begins simply enough, with a few graceful, ballerina-style spins, before she really starts to crank it up, shaking her hips rapidly from side to side, lifting her legs high in the air, and leaping across the stage.
Jessica does everything with a happy smile on her face, showing just how much she loves to dance, and she does a great job of staying in time with the music, even during the fast tempo sections of the song.
As the performance continues, her movements become even more impressive as she rolls over the dancefloor and even pulls off a one-handed cartwheel.
We’re so thankful that the whole routine was recorded and uploaded to Jessica’s very own YouTube account, which also features several other videos of her dancing exploits right up to the modern day.
More than 10,000 people have enjoyed the video so far, with plenty of positive comments encouraging Jessica to keep on doing what she loves and aiming high.
Since this 2018 routine, this little dancing sensation has only gotten better!
She’s currently a dancer with Avi’s Dance Project, has thousands of followers on Instagram, and continues to appear in dance competitions, recently earning a first place finish in the ‘5 and Under’ category of the Rainbow Dance Competition in Escondido, California. Check out her awesome abilities in the clip below and be sure to take a look at her other videos and Instagram page for more.
