We all need a loud and lengthy laugh once in a while, don’t you agree?
As the old saying goes: “Laughter is the best medicine.” Especially during stressful times, having a good laugh can make us relax a little bit. With that in mind, consider this hilarious standup comedy routine.

What songs are inappropriate for a wedding?
As it turns out, comedian Tim Hawkins made a whole routine around that premise. He begins with a story of his friend telling him that his wedding was coming up. His friend asks him to deliver the wedding song to which Hawkins responded, “Are you sure?”
As it turns out, his friend might’ve regretted asking for Hawkins’ help!

Still, Hawkins was also interested in the idea of giving his friend a wedding he would never forget.
At that moment, he enumerated short samples of songs that might be inappropriate for a wedding.

First in line was Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” because obviously, delivering a negative, and bitter image about love at a wedding is certainly not a good idea.
Next on the list was “Take It on the Run” by REO Speedwagon. Once again, it was clear why this wouldn’t be a good fit:
“Heard it from a friend who, heard it from another you been messin’ around…”
Another friendship ruining song Hawkins suggests is “My Best Friend’s Girl” by The Cars. After all, is it really a good idea to spread it around publicly that the girl your friend is about to wed was once yours? Needless to say, anybody doing that is likely to lose a friend.

Some wedding breaking songs, Hawkwind decided to sing U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and The Rolling Stone’s “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
These songs would definitely destroy the wedding if you play this song while the bride is marching down the aisle.
The last song that he gave was also hilarious—imagine insulting your friend with the song “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” by Aerosmith!

After enumerating all of his samples, Hawkins’ performance finally comes to an end.
The video alone was one of the internet’s favorites from Hawkins, getting 9.3 million views and the count is still rising up to this day.

Needless to say, Hawkins is a stand-up comedian that people never get tired of.
Hawkins is an American comedian, songwriter, and singer was born in Missouri on March 30, 1968. He is known for his witty and humorous lyrics from making parodies out of popular songs and stand-up comedies featuring various topics like parenting, marriage, childhood, and religion.

Even though he has topics that may be sensitive to joke around about, he makes sure that his jokes do not offend or harm his audience and just give everybody a good laugh.
Starting at the year 2002, he started releasing CDs of live recordings of his stand-up comedy tours.

Later on, Hawkins released clips of his comedy on the Internet through various popular video streaming platforms like YouTube, GodTube and Facebook. His total view count on his YouTube channel alone garnered him 200 million views.

Although the clips are as short as a minute or two, people keep coming back for more!
In trying times, people need to learn how to laugh more than ever—and Hawkins is definitely delivering the laughs.
