When one thinks of AC/DC, they generally don’t also think of bagpipes.

There is one Australian musician who is working to change all that, however.

His name is the Badpiper, and you’ve likely never seen anything like him before.

The Badpiper goes on tour.

After a memorable performance on Australia’s Got Talent, the Badpiper was invited to tour Australia with a band of daredevil freestyle motorcyclists known as The Crusty Demons.

This rather bizarre menagerie of stunts and music played to sold-out shows in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane.

“The worlds only flame throwing, leather clad, tattooed Heavy Metal Piper !! There can be only one , The Badpiper,” his Twitter profile reads.

The Badpiper rocks AC/DC’s Thunderstruck in public.

The reaction it has gotten online has caused his level of fame to shoot to the moon.

He gained more exposure from this viral video than he did his sold-out shows across Australia or his appearance on Australia’s Got Talent. That’s the reach YouTube and social media have.

Not long after the video went viral, The Badpiper received an invite to play in front of 70,000 people at a huge heavy metal festival in Australia.
