Among American singers and songwriters, Bruce Springsteen is a definite legend.
He is one of the most popular musicians and his songs serve as an inspiration to many generations. This video features three talented sisters who perform Springsteen’s hit song “I’m On Fire.” The song peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles charts in early 1985, but these beautiful sisters totally reinvented it as their own.
The three sisters are in a band called The Staves—and they are as beautiful as talented.

The Staves are three beautiful young ladies who obviously share a lot of love for music.
At the beginning of the video, all three of them are standing by the microphone. One of them holds a guitar and they present themselves as The Staves.

They are casually dressed and their stage presence is not intrusive, but their charisma shines through.
The girl with the guitar starts playing and the room fills with the familiar sounds of a very popular song. The real magic, however, happens when they start singing. It sounds soul-cleansing, amazing and very pleasant.
They could make anything sound incredible!

These sisters have undeniable talent.
The fact is this song melts perfectly with their voices and it is visible that they have been singing together for a long time. They understand each other’s voices and blend them all to perfection. Their gorgeous harmonies are enough to win over even the most dedicated Springsteen fans! Just like the original, they create the mood of longing when they sing and you can feel it in the lyrics.

The emotion is delivered very well and the guitar-playing is also excellent.
The effect of the overall performance is like getting a warm hug from someone you care about—and that can never be a bad thing.

The Staves definitely create a warm atmosphere when they sing.
Even if plenty of people are in love with the original, this is probably one of the best versions of this song we’ve heard! They obviously practice a lot, aside from being talented vocalists. The ending with the swoops was also brilliant. The most interesting and unique part of this cover is that they sing together the first part of the song and then go out to a single voice at the end. It is one excellent idea for contrast and it is simply overwhelming.
This video was uploaded on The Influences YouTube channel in 2015 and it got more than three million views!

So far, the Staves have four albums under their belt.
They have been musically active since 2009, and everyone in the comments agrees that these sisters really do sing like angels. The name of the band comes from their last name, Staveley-Taylor. They are originally from Watford, but they toured with Bon Iver and produced “If I Was” with Justin Vernon. The Staves also performed as a warm-up act for Florence and The Machine on Florence’s tour!

They are also very vocal about sensitive wilderness-bound artists that dominate modern folk music culture. They have already released four albums and say that their father taught them to play guitar. We can only ask why aren’t these girls popular worldwide and wish them the best with their future projects.
