It’s hard to talk about the relatively short history of rock n’ roll without mentioning The King himself. The man who brought the genre to a whole new demographic of people is to this day one of the most notable figures of popular music. There are literally thousands of covers of his songs scattered throughout the internet. This is not even to mention some notable covers from bands such as UB40.

After all, you can’t pretend to be a truly expressive singer if you can’t give people that “all fuzzy on the inside” feeling can you?

This is Chase Eagleson, a young musician with the boatloads of talent necessary to do this classic love ballad justice. Not just the musical talent, but with Elvis-like charisma to make smokey eyes to the camera. A chip off the old rock (n’ roll). Except, rather than shaking his hips and making the girls scream, he’s got a slightly smoother style.
He’s a talented young man from Ohio, and is a talent you’ll want to keep an eye on.

So when this talented and ambitious young man set his sights on Elvis’s classic, the unsuspecting song didn’t stand a chance.
To be sure, he not only possesses the vocal talent to sing the song well, but the swooning style for which Elvis was so popular. I’m certain that Chase too could get that same level of hysteria from his fans as Elvis once did, the way he makes eyes at the camera.
So when he begins singing, I couldn’t believe my ears.
If you weren’t expecting a low, deep yet silky smooth voice to come out of this young lad, then you aren’t alone. My world was rocked when Chase began to unleash that full bodied voice of his.
And I think he knows it!
Not only does Chase bear an Elvis-like strength of voice, but the confidence that comes from carrying around such a heavy bag of talent. He’s got one heck of a voice and he knows how to use it.
Not to mention the guitar!
Not only does he absolutely crush it vocally, but he plays the guitar with a talented ease. To boot, he makes beautiful variations to the melody both with his guitar and with his voice. It’s clear that this isn’t a musician who’s simply happy to phone it in by copying someone else’s song directly, but rather to put his own unique spin on it.
