The Christmas time of year is usually the joyous.

While ultimately it’s up to you to decide, there are some undisputable bonuses that come with the year’s end. It very well could be the abundance of delicious treats, the always-possible snowstorm, the comfort of gathering together with families or perhaps just the lifted mood in general.
And who doesn’t like to celebrate Christmas with a bit of music?
Enter The Piano Guys.
They are a unique group of musicians who are making waves across YouTube, earning themselves over a billion collective views for their outright joyful performances.
Their mashup Christmas hit of “Let It Snow” and “Winter Wonderland” is going viral for the second year in a row.
Not only does it sound amazing, it looks incredible! These guys are not messing around!
This musical group started at a little piano store in Utah.
The owner, Paul Anderson, sought to find a new way to market his instruments. He did what many business owners are doing these days: he turned to making entertaining videos and showcasing and promoting across social media.
Eventually, fate brought Anderson together with a pianist named Jon Schmidt.
Schmidt walked through the doors of the store one day, hoping to practice on one of the store’s pianos before a performance that night.
Anderson jumped on the opportunity to make a video and ended up seeing the potential for long-term collaboration!
With the addition of a cellist and a producer, The Piano Guys were born! The group no sooner began exploring their capacity to truly ring in the Christmas Spirit.
In 2019, they upped their performance game to new heights by doing an instrumental Christmas mashup, accented by an incredible display of lights.
The group included a breathtaking 739,539 lights to illuminate their show, and the results are mesmerizing! Each light is synchronized to the music.

“For this tune we triple-channeled the stylistic vibe of legends Michael Bublé, Sara Bareilles, and the Doobie Brothers! We stitched them together so tightly that we hope it feels like being wrapped in a patchwork blanket of both carols, these artists, and The Piano Guys throughout every second of the song. Add the visual splendor of an inordinate amount of synchronized lights filmed in below-freezing temperatures and it’s instant Christmas spirit!”
