I bet most of you would say high school years were your best, wouldn’t you? There, you made some good friends who are probably still your friends today.

Before stepping into college, your high school years also became a turning point in your life when you made such a huge impact on other people.

When Brett Nichols was 17 years old and a junior in high school, he had an incredible experience that seemed like something out of a movie.

It happened during the yearly school talent show, and he absolutely wowed everyone!

Back then, Brett didn’t realize it was just the start of a dream coming true.

Lots of kids copy their favorite performers. But unlike most who goof around, Brett seriously learned to dance like Michael Jackson at home. Yep, he really nailed those moves.

At nine, he began taking dance more seriously. By age 11, he showcased his King of Pop moves at the school talent show.

It wasn’t until later, encouraged by friends, that he decided to do it again.

While some of us might feel nervous performing in front of others, Brett boldly signed up for the talent show at Pitman High School in Turlock, California.

Dressed like Michael Jackson in a black suit, hat, sunglasses, and a single glove (that was like the cherry on top), he took the gymnasium floor.

When the music started, he had everyone cheering wildly.

The video below is akin to the climax of many movies. It’s that final scene that sends shivers down your spine and makes you cheer.

With Michael Jackson’s timeless song “Billie Jean” playing in the background, Brett danced as if he were the King of Pop himself. His routine was filled with the artist’s famous moves.

Brett took the microphone and lip-synced “Billie Jean” while Jackson’s voice played through the speakers.

The students screamed in amazement, watching Brett’s precise footwork and movements that mirrored those of the late musician. The best part? He didn’t hold back at all.

He flawlessly executed all the signature moves we all adore. This young man really put in the effort!

Despite looking all so shy, Brett seemed extremely confident as he danced in the middle of the gym floor, captivating everyone!

But as we all know, every performance needs a great ending. And the teenager delivered.

Toward the end of his act, Brett included the ultimate move and did the moonwalk across the gymnasium.
