There’s nothing like a fun and vibrant dance performance to help lift your spirits. Get ready, because this is one of them…

Gabriel Misse and Analia Centurion are both world-famous dancers that can mesmerize crowds with their moves. Many people know them for their incredible tango skills, but here they showed off a different side. Let’s just say, a little bit of a “cooler” side.

Time to turn back the calendars to a totally different decade.

2020 hasn’t been everyone’s favorite year (to put it mildly). Although we can’t travel through time, the following dance performance might have you feeling like you did. Not only is it an energetic dance, but it’s combined with a rock and roll classic from 1961.

Even the couple seems overjoyed the moment it starts to play…

Why, it’s Dion’s song “Runaround Sue!”

Gabriel immediately ditches his tie and undoes a couple of his shirt buttons. After all, there is no stiffness when it comes to rock and roll! His partner, Analia, already looks a bit old-fashioned with her polka dot dress.

Once the spoken intro of the song ends, the pair flies into action on the dance floor.

The duo’s talent shines through.

Gabriel and Analia are light on their feet as they dance and shake their hips to “Runaround Sue.” Their moves blend perfectly with the doo-wop style tune, which sounds like it should be coming from a jukebox.

The whole performance is so lively that even the other people can’t help but clap along. And who can blame them… They have front row seats to two very magnificent dancers!

Both Gabriel and Analia have been dancing most of their lives.

Gabriel first started learning the tango when he was six-years-old. As for Analia, she got into classical dance at age six, and the tango at 16.

Over the years they’ve each racked up incredible accomplishments, including teaching and dancing tango at festivals across the globe. Together, they are simply dazzling to watch!

Just because Gabriel and Analia specialize in tango – doesn’t mean they can’t also boogie to rock and roll.

In the video, they look like two cool cats with all their fancy footwork. They’re so good, in fact, that it’s no wonder their performance has over 1.1 million views!

One person pointed out how natural they seem out on the dance floor. They wrote:

“It’s like breathing to them. Wow. Just wow!!!!”

The song alone might beam you back to the olden days.

“Runaround Sue” was a number-one hit for Dion. It also holds the 351st spot on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs Of All Time” list. However, it wasn’t actually about a girl named Sue…

According to Songfacts, Dion included the following in his King Of The New York Streets box set:

“…when I actually wrote the song and brought it into the studio to record it, well, her name wasn’t actually Sue. It was about, you know, some girl who loved to be worshiped but as soon as you want a commitment and express your love for her, she’s gone. So the song was a reaction to that kind of woman.”

Interestingly, two years after releasing the song, Dion married a beautiful girl named Susan!
