Who said people have to slow down with age? Whoever it was clearly didn’t have a solid love of dancing and it shows.
This couple has been dancing to their own beat and crushing competitions for decades. And they’re still the best in show.
Meet Nellia & Dietmar.
The 64 and 70-year-olds, respectively, are so sure-footed when it comes to dancing that they even teach the youngsters how to do it.
They have a fondness for a particular era, though.
The 40s and 50s have their hearts.
And their feet, too, it would seem. Their passion lies in dance styles like Swing, the Jitterbug, and Lindy.
Here, we get to see these seniors light up the dance floor with a Boogie Woogie Rockabilly Jive.
They did not disappoint.
Their incredible swing performance left everyone shocked, in awe, and in slack-jawed amazement.
Their number was spectacular and no one could keep themselves from cheering them on.
The moment the song “Down The Road Apiece” by The Refreshments played in the air, the elderly couple instantly danced in the middle of the ballroom and wowed everyone with their sensational moves.
You’d never believe they’re seniors.
With quick steps and graceful maneuvers, their dancing is absolutely phenomenal and full of energy.
Wearing a yellow, three-piece suit with matching yellow shoes, the elderly gentleman mesmerized the crowd with his smooth moves and exceptionally strong physique.
He wasn’t even flinching while effortlessly whipping his partner around the floor and twirling her over and over again.
It looked like they were having so much fun!
The lovely lady also showed some fabulous moves tempered with gracefulness.
She matched the energy of her partner.
She twirled so many times and the way she danced was nothing short of amazing.
Everyone in the room was infected by her tremendous energy.
As their performance went on, the complexity of their moves and stunts also gradually escalates and this excited the crowd even more.
Their slides and poses are on point and quite unexpectedly difficult for their age. However, they did everything with ease and expertise that belong to professional dancers.
They didn’t steal thunder, they brought it.
The couple did not fail to keep their audience hanging on to their every step, twirl, and move.
The crowd was simply mesmerized by this elderly couple’s jaw-dropping performance.
In all honesty, watching these two dance made us question if we were actually looking at two senior citizens dancing.
They move so well together. Like water.
Their gracefulness and the energy they bring into the room are unbelievable. Their stage presence is quite palpable, too.
