Love this so much, they even added in the "moonwalk".

Back in the swing of things!

Life is a very complicated song which has you crying, screaming, and even letting go when it all seems out of rhythm.

But no one said you can’t dance to the wonderful mess that this is. So grab a partner and have a little fun!

Ever learned or tried the West Coast Swing?

Here’s Thibault Ramirez and Emeline Rochefeuille providing us with an excellent display of a really cool dance that has made a significant resurgence in the past few years.

This dance is a fun, improvisational style that allows the lady or follower to “lead” from time to time.

It was traditionally danced to slower, blues-style swing music, but today, many dancers use the West Coast Swing to hip hop, R&B and pop music.

But really, who doesn’t dance to Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”?

And you don’t even have to do it the exact way MJ did, because let’s face it, that’s near impossible.

Thibault Ramirez and Emeline Rochefeuille are excellent dancers though so they take a little bit of Michael Jackson and mix it up with some West Coast and…

Look at these two go!

Rochefeuille has the footwork and the spin we all know and love. That’s MJ!

This head-bopping, smile inducing dance happened at the Global Grand Prix 2022 and you will, you will, hit replay over and over again.

It has to be said that Emeline took most of the lead in this one with Thibault following her every movement.

Look at her swing!

Emeline has been swaying to traditional rhythms of Séga, Maloya and Zouk since she was a child. Music and Dance have been key pillars of her heritage and identity according to her, and it shows.

She was 12 when she entered the competitive dance world with Ballroom dancing before competing in Solo Latin.

Rochefeuille was born to dance!

Thibault (and his wife) have also been dancing for a long time, so much so that they share their passion by teaching others, all while winning various competitions.

So no, Emeline and Thibault are not together, but for this competition, they partnered up for an amazing display of West Coast.

A really impressed viewer had this to say regarding the dance,

“Fabulous!!!! I think the most magical things happen when different dance styles are fused by great exponents like this couple. It is a great way to introduce more people to styles they might not have considered before. Some great lyrical lines of bodies in motion, very compelling to watch, thanks for posting.”

Emeline and Thibault dance up until the end of the first chorus, and really, we wish they did the entire song!

Imagine what these two would have done with that instrumental break where MJ moonwalks. Right?!

But all the same, this was a fun dance to watch and it makes one want to learn the West Coast Swing even more!
