If most of us were presented the choice, we’d be tempted to ditch technology and pretend it never existed.

But while technology is responsible for some of the bad in the world, imagine what life would be like without funny, cute, or pure entertainment via the internet.

You can capture all sorts of sweet moments on camera, as proved by one woman and a baby.

The woman started singing a Carpenters song to a friend’s four-month-old baby. The baby’s response is so adorable that the video has gone viral, with millions of views!

You can’t ignore a live performance, especially when it comes from a baby.

In the video, the baby, whose name is Adler, is sitting in his car seat next to the table.

Annie, Adler’s mom’s friend, starts singing “I Need To Be In Love” – probably never expecting little Adler to have the reaction that he did!

But the moment Annie started to sing, Adler was all ears. The moment was fortunately recorded for the world to see by a man named John, who was also in the room, and whipped out his phone when he saw what was happening.

If you’re feeling a little gloomy today, baby Adler’s smile will cheer you right up.

Baby’s grins are so innocent and joyful – you just can’t help smiling along. And when you see how happy Adler is to listen to his mom’s friend’s rendition of the 1976 song, you’ll be grinning in no time.

As Annie sings:

“The hardest thing I’ve ever done
Is keep believing
There’s someone in this crazy world for me…”

Little Adler is truly entranced. But it doesn’t take long before he decides there’s one thing better than listening – joining in himself!

Being only a baby, Adler isn’t exactly a pro singer.

But you can tell he’s trying to get the right sounds to come out of his mouth, and it’s just too cute.

We’re hardly surprised that Adler had such a positive reaction to the tune – and he wasn’t the only one! Apparently, the late Karen Carpenter’s was a huge fan of the song, too. According to Song Facts:

“According to Carpenters – The Untold Story by Ray Coleman, “I Need To Be In Love” was Karen Carpenter’s very favorite song.”

on this day in 1972, Karen and Richard were present at the White House! #tbt

The adorable vocalist had stirred up the room with his adorable “singing”, and everyone in the room just had to watch.

John knew this was too good to keep to himself, so he uploaded his video footage to YouTube.

In the caption, he wrote:

“Doug came by to teach me some chords for a song–Annie had started singing the Karen Carpenter song, “I Know I Need To Be In Love.” 4-month old Alder then tried to sing, too. (Its a friend of ours child , she brought him by ) So I grabbed a nearby camera. Thanks to Lisa for bringing him over. What a cutie – John”

The video, which was an instant hit, has since been watched more than 3 million times.

People in the comments said that they can’t help but feel good after watching little Adler, and we know exactly what they mean!

A smile is contiguous, and we could all do with a little more happiness in the world.
