What were you doing when you were seven?

Laying in the field and staring up at the clouds during baseball practice? Collecting rocks?

Well, this incredible little girl, Konstantina Andritsou, was playing guitar—and not just four-chord tunes.

In this video, she effortlessly plays a full-sized guitar better than most adults.

And we’re not talking about some cutesy little recital either.

She goes full on Eric Clapton here.

Performing for a small and informal audience, she walks on stage and takes a bow.

You can tell she’s shy and maybe even a little nervous, but she’s smiling at family members in the audience.

Her instructor comes to help her set up, bringing her the guitar while she gets comfortable in her chair.

She smiles out at the audience, looking eager to get going.

Behind all that talent is still a lovely little girl!

As soon as she starts playing, that’s when the magic happens.

She strums away, picking the strings to Capricho Árabe, an original song by 20th-century Spanish composer Francisco Tárrega.

Even though the song was originally Spanish, it has a distinctly Greek style to it when played by this young girl.

But perhaps there’s been a slight twist on the song which may have been organized by her teacher, since they live in Greece.

It’s beautiful when there can be a fusion of cultures like this one. She’s obviously being taught by the best of the best!

Even though the stage itself looks quite casual and even a little messy, you can tell it’s a professional academy.

Michajeru was impressed he left this comment saying,

“This little girl has great potential, she played very well indeed, and deserves much praise. If I were her father I would be so proud.”

She looks focused as she plays, almost as if she’s just going through the motions—it’s second nature!

It’s nothing like what Malcolm Gladwell told us with his 10,000 hours theory.

I mean, sure, that’s widely been debunked, but the idea of it is still interesting—so let’s pretend for a second that the math was absolutely true.

10,000 hours is about 417 days. So even if this girl practiced guitar for three hours each day (and that seems pretty unlikely by itself) it would take nine years to reach her 10,000 hours. That’s impossible!

The only explanation is that she’s got pure talent.

But hey, it’s a nice theory that gives normal people like the rest of us some hope that we can become great if we work hard enough.

“This young lady has more talent in her pinkie than any of the so called “musical artists” today.”

Says another stunned viewer.

Most kids don’t even learn to play the recorder until they’re about 10, and all you really need to do that is the ability to breathe.

And yet here is this amazing young musician, basically stretching her little fingers across the entire fretboard.

Meanwhile, the rest of us struggled to play hot cross buns!

This gifted girl is proof that anyone’s who’s ever said they can’t play guitar because their hands are too small is lying.

There is no such thing!

This little guitarist is living proof that setting your mind to what you want to do completely destroys all false notions set by others!

Francisco Tárrega himself would be impressed. She makes it look so easy!

The 22 million YouTube viewers were all blown away, especially those who had tried to play the song themselves in the past.

Someone even said they had been working at perfecting it for 40 years and couldn’t believe how well a seven-year-old was performing.

It’s amazing what talent, dedication, and a love for music can do.

Keep an eye on Konstantina Andritsou… I think we can expect to see big things from her in the future.
