To work with kids means you have to be like them, or at the least, understand them.
We often see principals as strict, disciplinarians, or a scary school personnel. When you say you’re invited to the principal’s office, you would want to know what you did wrong or if your parents already know what happened, and so much more.
However, we cannot see just how hardworking our school principals are. It’s difficult being the head of the school.
Being able to cater to all your students is a challenge as well.
A principal would think of ways how to be a friend to every student but teach the kids to respect them as their head.
Six years ago, a YouTuber named Jason uploaded a short video showing a cool dance battle between their school principal and a very brave young student.
Not all kids would have the guts to join a showdown with their school principal, right?
The video that lasted 1:30 minutes started as the principal asked the student to start the dance showdown. We then see the student scratching his head as if having doubts.
Then we hear the upbeat music playing, and the student was waiting for the perfect time to show his moves to everyone.
At first, the kid was shy, but when he started dancing, the crowd cheered for him! This young man had some good moves, and he was showing the school principal that he was good at dancing.
Oh, did you see that moonwalk?
The kids were yelling and cheering when they finally saw their principal going in the middle of the court, dancing.
If you see this man dancing, you wouldn’t even think he’s the school’s principal. We would have guessed him as one parent or a dance coach.
The principal was so cool, even showing everyone a flare, a little breakdance, and more!
It looked like Mr. Principal had been practicing his dance moves.
We also love how he ended the dance with a pose while pointing at the student to take his turn once more.
However, the kid knew who won, and everyone clapped.
Everyone, including the principal, enjoyed the showdown. It’s so nice to see the students and the principal bond like this at every event.
The video received lots of comments about how cool the principal was and how the student was brave enough to take the challenge.
One comment said that the principal looked like he had been to some showdowns before.
“The Principal is a straight-up b-boy! The kiddo had heart, the Principal looked like he’d seen a battle or two! That was pretty dope!🔥🔥🔥”
Another comment commended the principal for making an effort to connect with his students.
“The best part of this is just seeing a teacher that can interact and get involved with his students like that. I’m guessing this is a very well-liked and respected teacher.”
The other comment said that the principal wanted everyone to have fun and he succeeded.
“I love how the principal could’ve toyed with the kid, he obviously had more game but he wanted it to be fun for everyone. Solid bloke, probably a solid teacher.”
All in all, it was a good battle between the student and the principal.
