Get ready for a street performance for the ages.

Right around dusk, hundreds of people walk the boardwalk, taking some time to enjoy the fantastic view featuring scenic mountains and water.

The early dusky sunset adds an appealing ambiance.

But what’s a beautiful day without a little music?

Some light piano tones exit some nearby speakers. The man readies his sax.

His reed touches the tip of his lips. He’s ready to go.

The sax’s tone is smooth and punctuated, melding right in with the accompaniment.

Countless people quickly acknowledge him, some tapping their feet and moving to the rhythm.

He lets out a wailing trill, building some tension before a grand release as the beats come back in.

Like Van Morrison in 1979, he’s just into the music.

By this point, a large crowd’s started to form. Everyone in a 50-yard radius seems to have taken notice.

About a minute and a half into the performance the rhythm changes and our esteemed saxophonist lets out another wailing trill.

The kid in the background starts a little jig to the music. I can’t blame him.

By this point, quite the crowd’s gathered in a circle around the sensational saxophonist street performer. He continues to throw it down.

And can we pay some respects to his attire?

Not gonna lie, he’s looking pretty dapper.

They’re getting an amazing free show and they know it! The scenic view makes it all the more epic.

Some opt for their larger digital cameras.

A woman fumbles around in her bag for a recording device.

By this point, dozens of people have gathered around the saxophonist in a large circle. But the best has yet to come!

The sax continues to wail through the chorus of “Dance Monkey.”

He’s playing the tenor saxophone, specifically – not to be confused with the popular, smaller alto saxophone. Some of the greatest tenor saxophonists include jazz legends John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, and Stan Getz.

The audience continues to thoroughly enjoy their live show.

The sky’s noticeably darker than the beginning of the video, now featuring a blue-purple hue.

He repeats the chorus one last time, foreshadowing the end of the song.

As the music comes to a close, a new fan walks forward, giving him a nice donation.

She absolutely loved his energetic performance!

The performer in the white hat’s certainly a smoother operator, wowing everyone fortunate enough to be nearby. He’s clearly a fantastic tenor saxophonist.

I imagine Tones and I would be overjoyed by this cover. Covers are pretty much the highest respect you can pay another musical artist, after all.

It’s not every day that you get to see a phenomenal street performance with a beautiful view in the background. I imagine this is a day that everyone around to see the performance will remember.

At the moment, our esteemed street performer has around 2.8 million subscribers on YouTube as Daniele Vitale Sax. And he deserves every one of those fans!
