This performance was definitely significant, and it added a touch of magic to the ceremony.

The gentleman’s voice at the beginning is breathtaking and Karen Gibson does a perfect job leading this choir. Their elegance and professional approach are admirable, and all the performers are so well coordinated. The singing is top-notch and they seem to be very proud to be part of the ceremony. For a moment, the camera shows the couple and they really feel this performance in their soul.

The atmosphere is beautiful for so many reasons.

For those who don’t know, The Kingdom Choir is based in London and had already performed for Queen Elizabeth II, Bill Clinton, Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela.

The fact that this black gospel choir performed at a royal wedding made that ceremony very inclusive, which is one of the greatest things about them. Shortly after their performance at the wedding, The Kingdom Choir released their debut album, Stand By Me. It features renditions of songs from John Legend, Beyonce and Coldplay, as well as some gospel classics. Gibson said their album is an expression of listeners’ desire to embrace inclusion, diversity, and love. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. This video was uploaded in 2018, and, judging by its views, it seems that more than 10 million people got the message!
