Slow and fast. That’s what it takes to win. Just ask Sondre Olsen-Bye and Tanya Georgiievska. The incomparable couple and dance duo that’s been traveling all over, dancing and winning their way in to the hearts of both fans and judges alike.

The Boogie Woogie World Cup must have known who was going to win. The event might just be a competition for second place onwards because when you see these two on the dance floor, there is no question, they are GOLD.

Most people would give an arm and a leg just to be able to do half of what Sondre and Tanya can do.

It doesn’t matter how deep your pockets go, this is just pure talent. Imagine their trophy shelf at home.

Now it’s not enough that they move unlike anyone you’ve seen. This couple have the looks perfect for the camera too. Sondre has that boyish charm, mischief in his eyes, devilish moves type of vibe going, whereas Tanya is a darling. She is a lovely doll, full of an innocence charm that betrays just how sexy she is and how she takes that to the dance floor. You go, girl!

Look at these two go!

That slow dance to “You’re the boss” by LaVern Baker and Jimmy Ricks is a rhythmic, fluid dance so jaw dropping to watch. They pull of gravity defying lifts, poses, and spins all while making sure to engage the viewers with their lovely smiles. Eye contact is important!

Learning to dance at an early age, then constantly perfecting it is the key to both Sondre and Tanya’s success. Sondre was born in Central Norway and started dancing at 5. He was 8 when he took part in his first Swing Dance competition and began teaching locally at 13.

The lovely Tanya was born in Kiev, Ukraine. At the age of 4, she started doing classical dance then switched to acrobatic rock n roll at 9. From then on, she took off participating in different projects, as well as practicing her skills so she’d be ready for the world stage.

And she was.

The fast dance is done to “Cool it baby” by The Treniers. They switch from the slow, melodic dance to a more uptempo style full of dazzling footwork, dizzying spins, and a smorgasbord of dance moves so delightful to watch. Don’t blink when watching these two. And forget about going to the bathroom.
