The Boogie Woogie dance is an improvised and playful couple dance.
This is usually danced in a medium or fast tempo that includes too much footwork. The movements will have to depend on the musical interpretation. Though this has been a popular social dance, there are now several competitions for this particular dance style.
This dancing couple is ready to show their moves on the dance floor.
The fabulous pair is dancing “Choo Choo Ch’Boogie” by Rock Island Line. It’s pretty creative to see how they have incorporated an arm movement to interpret a train’s “choo choo” in the music.
Nils Andren and Bianca Locatelli are full-time swing dance teachers, choreographers, and performers. Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie are their main passion. They have built their careers on what they love doing.
Since they were kids, the two have already enjoyed dancing. They have also performed and joined competitions with other partners back in their home countries at a young age.

Nils and Bianca have won a slew of Swedish competitions, which include those Swedish championships. They have also conquered a number of Boogie Woogie international competitions. Hence, this couple is definitely quite interesting to watch when they are on the dance floor.
With years of experience, they are more creative and expressive in their performances.
Donning a fashionable outfit in the 50s, the dancing pair looks very interesting since they look so retro. And the audience cannot wait to see what they’ve prepared for their number on the Swedish competition (Arlabuggen).
While getting ready to show off their expertise in Boogie Woogie, the couple first feels the crowd’s excitement along with the groovy music that’s already playing in the background.
Nils then grabs Bianca to heat up the dance floor with his feet showing an impulse to dance. The two add some humor in their number, and they dance wildly to the groovy music. Taking the tempo up a notch, their feet simultaneously move much faster to the beat while twisting, turning, and showcasing the boogie step variations.
Their routine is impeccable.
With the great music that the couple is dancing to, the audience claps along with the beat. The crowd is having so much fun, as you can see in their smiling faces. What’s even hilarious is there’s a part where Nils covers Bianca’s eyes as they dance.
