The Kerrs took home numerous awards from prestigious figure skating competitions.

However, they have already retired from competitive skating, back in April 2011.

The siblings originally planned to retire after their 2009-2010 season but decided to pursue for another year.

Unfortunately, Sinead suffered an injury to her shoulder, which made them decide to stop joining any competition officially.

But first, they made their mark.

Despite their short career, the duo left an unforgettable mark in this sport. The Kerr siblings are known for owning the dance floor with bold choreography and story-telling dances.

Even their outfits caught everyone’s attention.

During the Winter Olympics, John wore a cowboy hat and checkered shirt while sticking out his thumb.

On the other hand, Sinead sported a Daisy Duke outfit as she stood in the middle of the rink in character.

Skating to the upbeat song, Sinead and John captured the crowd with their moves.

Of course, what’s “country” without trucks?

With the hoot of the truck’s horn and strumming of a guitar, Sinead started their choreography acting like a truck driver maneuvering his gearshift.

She swiftly skates her way towards John, who looks like a hitchhiker.

Matching the clap of their audience, they pranced and glided their way around the ice.

The audience is already in their corner.

John carries Sinead like a guitar. He manages to do this while sliding without losing his poise.

Then, they continued to hoedown and jump in the air while moving to the tune of the song.

Their finale was unexpected.

And it made their fans stand in amazement and pride to show their support for the Olympic contestants.

John straddles Sinead, and the two gracefully maneuver toward their final pose.

John’s a truck driver, Sinead’s his truck.

The pair ended their dance with John moving his arms up in the air as if driving, then pretending to step on his brakes.

This leads them to wiggle, like when a moving truck is close to making a full stop. The Kerrs managed to get into the 8th spot.

They really deserve to bag home a medal for such a one-of-a-kind performance.
