On America’s Got Talent, the two most common acts that the judges see are singers and dancers.
With some many acts competing for attention with the same talent, many people try to stand out.
Often times, when people try to bring attention to themselves, it doesn’t always work out well. But other times, it works perfectly in their favor.
Sixto and Lucia are one of those acts that brought the WOW factor for their audition.
Don’t be fooled, while Sixto and Lucia might look like a couple, they aren’t actually together. They dated for 7 years, but a year ago, they broke up. Despite that, they still decided to audition for AGT together.
If Heidi Klum and Mel B get their way, Sixto and Lucia will be dating again soon!
The couple decided to audition for the show after they saw a couple many seasons ago perform a dance with quick changes mixed in.
They totally blew that old AGT couple out of the water with their quick changes! Not only did they manage to include an incredible number of quick changes, they made them look effortless.
All of the judges absolutely loved the energy they had, while they danced and performed to Jennifer Lopez’s ‘90s smash hit, “Let’s Get Loud.”
When they finished, the audience was on their feet, screaming and cheering for Sixto and Lucia.
The judges wanted to share their praise right away. Simon Cowell has sat through a lot of performances over the years on various talent competition shows and he felt that Sixto and Lucia were one of the best quick-change acts he’d seen.
Simon believes that acts like Sixto and Lucia’s aren’t always about the technicality, but the personality. He felt they had a big personality and that is what made them successful and fellow judge Howie Mandel had to agree with him.
America’s Got Talent’s Facebook page shared the video and since then, it has gotten over 1.2 million views and 1,000 shares.
One Facebook commenter had to know how they managed to change so fast:
HOW did they change SO quickly? SERIOUSLY, HOW?! I want to learn how to do that. I think Tyra knew this was planned because they switched up what she was wearing, too. If Tyra didn’t know this was planned, then they probably wouldn’t have been able to change her outfit in time so Tyra MUST HAVE BEEN PART of the performance from the very beginning.
One YouTube user commented their belief on how Sixto and Lucia managed to change their outfits at lightning speed:
The trick they use is they wear all the clothes that can easily be torn off so when their under the curtain, they tear off the clothes quickly
