When you see ballet, you will be in awe. It is indeed a display of beauty, elegance, discipline, and grace.
When you see ballerinas dancing, you would think they do it so effortlessly, like fairies dancing in the forest.
A video posted last 2016 featured six adorable ballerinas that melted everyone’s heart because of their performance.
Before we talk about their performance that garnered millions of viewers, let us first learn more about ballet.
Ballet – an elegant performance
Ballet is a type of dance that originated in the 15th century, during the Italian Renaissance.
To be a good ballerina requires strenuous practice. Often a child as young as 7 years old can start training to be a professional.
Though there are younger kids that can take beginner’s training.
Once a child reaches 7, she can already check if she wants to continue or not. By this time, the child already has an idea of how hard the training is.
Anyone who would continue can train for 7 to 10 years.
Those years will be worth it when you start learning dedication, motivation, stamina, perseverance, and strength.
Each dancer will undergo hard training just to be as elegant as a swan.
Would it be worth it? Well, if you love what you are doing, then yes.
Adorable costumes
The six kids in the viral video arrived at the stage of Casa de Ballet wearing adorable tutu dresses.
They were also seen wearing cute pink shoes and those adorable lacey hair buns.
These adorable little girls are enough to make you want to watch their performance on stage. Oh, and the kid’s parents must have felt really proud of them.
Dedicated little ballerinas
We see the little girls go to their designated places, each other looking at someone at the side of the stage.
It seemed like they were looking at their teacher, who was guiding them throughout the performance.
They are very young kids, but as you can see, they are already showing dedication to their performance.
Some kids would look at their parents, the audience, or just lose focus, but not these kids.
The little girls were dedicated ballerinas.
Discipline and talent
It’s expected for these kids to lose focus, but surprisingly, they didn’t.
They did make tiny mistakes, but that’s okay. They really did a good job doing their steps and making everyone happy with their performance.
You have to agree, their footwork was amazing.
Enjoyment and love
Lastly, the kids loved what they were doing!
You can see how much they enjoyed their performance, and the audience, too, enjoyed watching the little ballerinas.
If you love what you’re doing, you will enjoy every moment of it.
They were dancing, showing their talent, and it also seemed like they were playing.
This is one of the reasons why it’s important for us, as parents, to be aware of what our kids love.
If we know what they like, then we would be able to support them, may it be singing, dancing, drawing, or even ballet.
So, do you think they’ll grow up as great ballerinas? We do!
