Kendra and Krista are sisters that both have angelic musical voices. Their voices are so pure and loving that it wraps you up in sweetness when you listen to them. So, their acoustic version of “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)” was destined to bring people to tears.

Kendra and Krista go by their band name, Tigirlily, but have been singing together since they were both little girls. The girls originally started singing with their hometown church in North Dakota. They started singing praise songs through the church, but by the ages of ten and twelve the sisters started writing their own songs.
Once they started writing songs their inspiration did not stop and the sisters have written over 300 songs together.
When they are not singing praise songs, they are working on their original material as Tigirlily. The Tigirlily official website explains the girls sound as genre-bending.

Kendra and Krista have moved to Nashville, Tennessee to further their music aspirations.
They can be found singing in clubs and bars in Nashville, like so many other aspiring artists. While they pursue their hopes in the Nashville music industry, they are also attending Belmont University. These sisters are working hard to achieve their dreams and with their talent, they deserve it.
Kendra and Krista might have left home to follow their dreams, but no one ever truly leaves their roots.
The sisters have not forgotten their church singing roots. They might not be singing in their hometown church anymore but its music has left its mark. When deciding to create a version of “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Broken)”, it was because how the song has influenced so many women in their own lives.
