It is because looks can be deceiving. The way a person acts or dresses could be irrelevant to his skills and capabilities. Just like how a seemingly shy girl stuns the crowd with her jaw-dropping performance.

Meet Courtney Ann Hadwin, a singer-songwriter who originally hails all the way from County Durham, England.
Before coming to the United States to pursue her passion for singing, she previously joined The Voice Kids U.K. in 2017, performing “Nutbush City Limit” by the “Queen of Rock n Roll” Tina Turner. She finished the competition in the top six.
Courtney auditions for AGT instead of Britain’s Got Talent because her grandfather believes that she is made for the American scene. And now she is set to conquer the American stage.
America’s Got Talent is a televised American talent show competition and is part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell.
The participant is given 90 seconds to demonstrate their act in front of a panel of judges consisting of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Spice Girls’ Mel B, Heidi Klum and the live audience.
Each judge is given a buzzer which they can use during the performance whether they are unimpressed, hate what is being performed, or feel the act is a waste of their time. If a participant is buzzed by all judges, their performance is automatically over.
There is also the golden buzzer which can send an act automatically into the live shows. Each judge can only use the golden buzzer once per season.

She performs a rock version of Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle” and everyone was stunned.
Both the judges and the audience can’t believe their eyes and ears!
Despite her sweet countenance are a naturally raspy voice and moves befitting a rock star.
No one was prepared enough to be blown away with such a fantastic performance, but oh well, expect the unexpected.
At a young age, she easily belts out the song. The way she modulates her voice from the tiny falsettos to the big growls, sounding like a lioness.
All the tension and anxiety she had before performing are completely gone.
She shrugs it off in every shake and twist of her body as she feels the song to her core. She just started to heat up the stage yet the audience is already on their feet giving her a round of applause.
She walks on the stage oozing with confidence and sheer talent.
Courtney ends her wild performance with a bang that the judges give her a round of applause.
Judge Howie was so impressed with the little rock star in the making as he raves about her resemblance with the iconic rock star Janis Joplin.
Her performance was so amazing that Judge Howie presses the golden buzzer taking her straight to the quarterfinals. Her father can’t be any happier as he hugs her daughter while beaming with pride.
