This is one of the tightest playing styles we’ve ever heard, and the talent is undeniable.

Reed’s technical skills throughout the entire song are excellent. The drummer follows in his footsteps and delivers an amazing performance. Regardless of being religious or not, this makes you want to shout “Hallelujah.”

Reed graduated from DePaul University in Chicago where he obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music and composition.

He performed songs by Ramsey Lewis, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, R. Kelly and many other famous musicians. So when speaking of role models, this is one person who can definitely teach others a lot. This video seems like he’s doing it with a lot of success. The crowd follows the rhythm and plenty of people are reacting to his music.

It’s just crazy that you can still hear how good his tone is, even despite the lower sound quality of the video.

Without a doubt, we’re seeing a very talented bass player.

The rhythm comes naturally to him and he has perfect left and right-hand control to articulate every note impeccably. It’s not just what he plays, but especially how he plays it that makes Reed so special.

Wouldn’t it be great to have more enriching spiritual experiences like this one in our daily lives?
