When Shania Twain says that she is country, she means it!
Shania Twain wanted to bring a little country to Las Vegas, Nevada when she started her concert residency. She knew the perfect way to bring country to Las Vegas was by bring her horses. By the looks of her horse-riding, Shania Twain is no stranger to riding horses, even on stage.
Shania Twain is one of the most well-known country singers in the world.
Shania’s popularity rose during the 1990s and early 2000s. She is most known for her first two albums, “The Woman In Me,” and “Come on Over.”
She has sold over 75 million albums worldwide. Shania took a long hiatus for personal reasons and was not in the public eye for about decade. It was not until 2011 that Shania returned to the spotlight for a comeback.
Shania was not going to have just any normal comeback, she was going to go all out.
Shania Twain announced a Las Vegas concert residency at Caesars Palace for her comeback. From the very beginning of her announcement she made sure to incorporate her horses. For her very first show, Shania rode down Las Vegas Boulevard riding her horse, and had dozens of horses guiding her to Caesars Palace. This was happening while her songs were being played out onto the street.
This is one singer that loves to make an entrance on her horse.
Shania was not going to stop riding her horse on the streets, she brought her horse onto the stage.
During her song, “You’re Still The One,” Shania came onto the stage riding her beautiful white horse. Shania was decked out in an all-white outfit herself, to match her horse. Her white dress draped behind her and the horse is stunning. Shania does not need a saddle and is on the horse without one, it is a good thing she has this horse well-trained.
Shania proves that this horse is a performer, just like her.
Shania has the horse elegantly bow to the audience, which receives a large applause from her audience. Shania easily slides off the horse, while still singing, and pets her horse lovingly. These two seem to have a very tight bond.
As Shania is singing the song, she takes the rope off her horse as well. There are probably not too many horses that would not get spooked by the lights, screaming audience, and loud music, but this horse is not showing any anxiety or fear. This horse is calm as Shania continuously pets its mane.
Shania walks a bit away from her horse, but he is following her anywhere she goes. Shania quickly realizes the horse wants her close and she quickly stays close. Shania even starts to sing her song directly to her horse, it is quite clear how much she loves her horse.
Shania has her horse give one last bow to the audience near the end of their performance.
