One of the best things about America’s Got Talent is that people can perform together.
We often see couples performing together, as well as giant dance troupes or choirs. But some of the most interesting acts are when parents perform with their children!
Sergey and Sasha Korolev have performed together for the last 10 years. The acrobats can demonstrate many incredible feats.
In her pre-taped interview, Sasha admitted that she was already sad that she wouldn’t be able to perform with her father for too much longer.
Her father was quick to comfort her and told her not to cry!
When Sasha and Sergey introduced themselves to the judges, the group was surprised to see a father and daughter performing together.
The 15-year-old explained that they’ve been working together since she was just six years old.
Simon Cowell asked if the act was dangerous, to which Sasha replied that it was. Mel B followed up Simon’s question to ask if she was scared. But Sasha was not!
“No, I trust my dad 100%!”
Mel B then wanted to know what their dream was.
“The dream is to be recognized anywhere. I’ll be in a grocery store, and they’ll be like ‘that’s Sasha from Got Talent, I have to get her autograph!’”
After that, Sasha and her father were quick to get into their nail-bitter performance. Sasha had to climb up onto Sergey’s head!
But that wasn’t all – after getting up on her father’s head (upside down, might I add) she then began to spin around. The entire time she was up there, the audience was screaming, while the judges all rotated on who was biting their nails more.
What was even scarier than Sasha spinning around on her father’s head was when he then climbed a ladder, with her still up there, all while she twirled a bar on her feet.
It will actually take your breath away to watch it! Once Sasha got down, she couldn’t help but say how cool it all was.
Simon jumped in to give his commentary:
“I agree with what you just said. Both of you, particularly, have so much personality. No question of doubt, following day, people are going to walk up to you at a grocery store and recognize you.”
The judges were all excited to give Sasha and Sergey their four yeses to send them onto the next round.
America’s Got Talent shared the video on their Facebook account and in mere minutes, it already had hundreds of comments.
