Bruno Mars’s songs are not just popular with youngsters but those who are in their late ages as well. Why?

His style is inspired by the old days.

This attracts older listeners as well because they recognize good music when they hear it.

They also know how to move to it.

One song that gets even the older generation on its feet is Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”.

This is exemplified by this elderly couple who heard the song and knew it was time to get up and dance.

The Texan couple was on vacation in Canada. They stopped by a restaurant in The Inverary Resort on Cape Breton Island where a musician was playing some live music.

Bruno Mars, whose real name is Peter Gene Hernandez, has a wide variety of musical styles, including pop, R&B, funk, soul, reggae, disco, and rock.

He rosed to fame in 2010 and had some of his hit songs on the Billboard charts.

“Uptown Funk” was produced by Mark Ronson and featured Mars and released on November 2014 which has an 80s kind of funk music. No wonder it attracted people from young to old.

The couple are certified music lovers.

Keith Mullins was playing some songs and the couple already got their jive on during some of them just while sitting at the table.

But when he played “Uptown Funk”, the couple stood up and started grooving.

With the shoes and the dance moves, the pair adorably stomped their feet in unison with Mullins’ cover of the mega-hit. The joy on the couple’s faces said it all.

Fortunately, someone caught it on video.

Lucky for us, we got to see the lovable couple in action!

They loved every step and stomp.

At one point, the music paused and the couple waited in queue.

They were having the time of their lives, oblivious to other guests who didn’t mind them dancing as they were also entertained by the couple.

They had the dance floor to themselves.

The video has more than 600K views on Keith Mullins’ Youtube Channel.

Many people were so pleased just to watch them dancing and enjoying a nice song in a lovely restaurant during their vacation.

One user commented, “This is so inspirational! Getting older does not mean being frail or walking with a walker or being in a wheelchair. Keep active! If dancing is what you like do it..if it’s walking do it…going to the gym whatever you like do it to keep yourself active and strong.”

The band got “props” also.

Another user commended the musician for sharing the spotlight with the sweet couple.

They said, “Way to go, Keith! That couple had a great time showing off their moves, and you inspired them. I never thought about doing an acoustic version of one of my favorite songs, because I just gotta dance whenever I hear it.”

The love for music indeed transcends time.

Whether you are a teen who’s just into music on what you feel at the moment, or an old couple who already had life fulfilled and are now enjoying each other’s company.
