If you’ve ever watched the Got Talent shows, you know that most of them rely on incredible singing and dancing performances.

Although contestants are welcome to enter and perform however they’d like, most of the performances end up being of a musical variety. There’s something immediately emotional and rewarding about seeing an underdog with a ton of talent finally get their moment in the spotlight.

Still, because the show is open to all kinds of talents, occasionally there’s someone who comes on that shakes up everything and gives us something unexpected.

That was definitely the case recently on Britain’s Got Talent.

Although the judges were expecting just another performance, that’s not what they got when a contestant named Elizabeth walked out.

Right as it begins, all the lights in the stadium start to flicker a little bit. After that, a woman walks out and gets a brief interview from the judges. She tells them that her name is just Elizabeth, and that she’s on the show for one specific purpose:

“Because I want to show you something special and try and make the impossible possible.”

At those words, the entire audience oohs and the lights go down.

After that, she explains that many of the theaters in London’s West End are haunted by ghosts.

As she explains that she wants to prove that ghosts exist, she walks off the stage and comes right up to the judge’s table. She hands judge Amanda a diary and walks her backstage.

Shortly after that, the contestant walks her under the stage where a table is set up with a bunch of photographs.

Needless to say, the entire audience is so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.

When they’re under the stage, Elizabeth explains that all the photos are of people who have been dead for 100 years.

After that, she tells Amanda to flip through the photos until one of them speaks to her specifically. Eventually, she finds one and sets it down. After she takes it out and looks through it, she reads information about the woman on the photograph.

After that, she has to read from the journal that she was given at the beginning of the performance. In it, there’s a paragraph circled in red.

As it turns out, the two are exactly the same.

At this point in the show, even Simon is on the edge of his seat!

After that, Elizabeth tells Amanda to look over her shoulder at the wall. On the wall is the dead woman’s name! When she turns around, Elizabeth jumps across the table and screams at Amanda—but it gets worse.

She’s somehow transformed herself into the dead woman from the photograph! At this stage in the performance, nobody knows how to react and everybody is completely out of breath.

Perhaps the most shocking part of all is when they get back to the main stage, Elizabeth is magically transformed back!

By the end of the show, everybody has to clap because they’ve never seen anything like it before.

Although it’s clear the performance is designed to be shocking and provocative, there’s no doubt that Elizabeth is super talented at what she does. As Amanda says herself, she was almost in tears because she was so afraid! Although this show was quite a bit different than what usually happens, the audience was definitely on the edge of their seats the entire time. If you’re looking to be scared just a little bit, definitely check this one out!
