Kids really do grow up to be just like their parents, don’t they?

If you think you’re nothing like your parents, just take a closer look at the little things you do. Personally, I turn on certain streets in my hometown, not because they are more convenient, but because my mother always turned on those streets!

It seems that 14-year-old Robert Irwin has turned out just like his dear old dad, Steve Irwin.

Sadly, Steve Irwin passed away almost 12 years ago in 2006 after he was stung by a stingray right in the heart.

At the time, Robert was only 2 years old, just a few months shy of his third birth. His older sister Bindi Irwin was 8 years old.

It was devastating for not just the family, but all of his fans around the globe. Steve Irwin made a huge impact on conservation during his lifetime and since then, his children and wife, Terri Irwin, have continued his work in his legacy.

Even though Robert didn’t get much time with his father, that doesn’t mean he isn’t like him in many ways.

Not only does Robert look like his late father, he also has quite a few of his mannerisms and passion for animals, especially the exotic ones.

Robert might just be 14, but he has already been very busy! He’s hosted a show for the Australia Zoo TV, Robert’s Real Life Adventures as well as Wild But True, which aired on the Discovery Kids Channel.

Now, Robert is doing something his dad used to – he’s bringing some exotic creatures to late night TV! Once, Steve Irwin gave a snake an ultrasound on late night TV. Robert isn’t doing anything that whacky, yet, but he is just his father.

Recently, Robert stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and he brought along the cutest guests.

First, Robert talked about what it was like to accept his father’s star on the Walk of Fame with his mother and sister. It just might make you want to cry!

Robert was on the show to promote the gala in his father’s honor that his family is hosting in Los Angeles, the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner.

Jimmy Fallon asked Robert right away what he brought for him and if anything would scare him, to which Robert assured him that something probably would scare him.

“Where do I run in case of an emergency exit?”

Jimmy had no reason to be scared, as the first animal guests were African pygmy goats! Robert had brought six baby goats for Jimmy to feed. The little goats were hungry and were very vocal about it!

The goats even had adorable names – they were named after the cast of Friends!

Rachel, Pheobe, Chandler, Monica, Ross, and Joey all got special treatment and were carried off the stage when it was time for their exit.

Next up, Robert brought out Cookie the Kookaburra! Jimmy was a little more hesitant about meeting Cookie than he was with the goats.

You can see more of the animal guests that Robert brought out for Jimmy in the video below.

And of course, as the Irwin family is incredibly supportive and loving, Terri and Bindi happened to be backstage to show their support for Robert. In the end, they came out to congratulate him for a great late night appearance.
