Ever since Bob Marley, one of the pioneers of the genre, introduced his music to the world, people were infatuated with it and it spread from one generation to the next. This time, we get to see one of the people who were influenced by Marley’s greatness.

One of the people who was greatly influenced by the reggae legend is Shane Vanderwall.

He spent his early days in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka before he later moved to Nuremberg, Germany with his trusty acoustic guitar. Before he moved to Germany, he also had some experience singing as a choirboy at St. Anne’s College.

His goals and dreams were different from those buskers who aspire only for money and fame.

Vanderwall’s goal is to use his talent to help people and to try and make a difference in the world. He started busking on Germany after he moved from his hometown, and there he began to use his talents to make his dreams a reality.

He was able to get by every single day with money from people who stopped to hear him sing.

Still, his name was heard worldwide after he went viral on the internet with his Bob Marley performance. Only a few musicians share the same passion and motivation as him while singing. That is what people saw after he went viral online with his rendition of “No Woman, No Cry” by Bob Marley.

He sang the song multiple times, whether he was on the streets or the train stations of Germany.

In the original video, which was uploaded eight years ago, he was seen to be sitting on the concrete pavement with people passing over him as he sang the song to them.

Before he only had his guitar, but now he has a microphone and a cajon drum to sit and use as percussion.
