One day, a very rare scenario unfolded at the Grand Palace. It was a heartwarming moment when people from different parts of the world flocked together to sing Bob Marley’s famous hit “No Woman, No Cry.”

The name of the musician is Lampa Faly, and he became a tourist attraction all in himself when he decided to perform at the Grand Palace.

People gathered to listen to the reggae busker who easily captivated their hearts. The video was captured by a Korean tourist named Jaeseok Kim who happened to be visiting the Grand Palace that day.

The soul of the legendary Bob Marley seemed to possess the man’s body that day.

Faly mesmerized everyone on the crowd with his charismatic take on the song. He started joking around and singing using French. He yells: “Laissez passer la voiture!” as a car passes by (which is French for “let the car pass!”)

Plenty of happy people decided to be Faly’s backup dancers.

When Lampa started to sing the lyrics in English, four men started dancing behind him. Two of them were still holding their beers—and they clearly didn’t mind if they spilled all over themselves! They were definitely enjoying the moment.

The four men hugged each other, looking like they knew each other for so long.

As it turns out, Faly has an entire horde of backup singers.

No matter who they were or what their background was, everyone there was jamming along with Faly! Everybody in the square was united through his music.

Everyone in the crowd—whether adults, teenagers and children—were singing happily with Falyu from start to finish. YouTube commenter NightWolf gave a reaction to the beauty of the performance:

“This was the most beautiful video I’ve seen all day! The rainbow of people together laughing and happy. Bob Marley’s music did exactly what he wanted it to do…unite the people! Love and blessings to you!”

Even more impressive was that Faly sang the song in three languages!

In the middle of his performance, Faly suddenly switches the lyrics from English to Wolof. In doing so, Faly was able to represent his hometown well with his perfect Wolof accent.
