Age is just a number, right?
If you tell yourself that you are too young or too old for something, you’re doing yourself a disservice. It is all in your head!
People young and old can achieve so much if they put their heart and soul into it. So long as they don’t listen to any naysayers, they will be successful.
Just look at Quin, of Quin & Misha, on America’s Got Talent. She is 71 years old (really, 71 years young in her case) and she looks amazing.
Honestly, she looks better than some women half her age! And she sure moves better than they do, too.
Quin & Misha auditioned for America’s Got Talent earlier this year and back then they judges were so impressed by them.
While Quin is 71, her partner Misha is half her age. He’s only 35! The dancing duo hails from Orlando, Florida.
They returned for the Judge Cuts round of the show and it is a good thing they came prepared because one of the judges was ready to make their day.
After their lively performance, all of the judges praised their hard work. They had nothing but kind words for the dancers.
Heidi Klum told the dancing partners that she was inspired by them and she found them absolutely incredible.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell said:
“The best part about you guys is your personality. Every time you come on, you light up the stage. It is great.”
Martina McBride was the guest judge of the night and she was honestly the most impressed. She told them that their message of not giving up for people of all ages is what really inspired her.
It inspired her so much – she just had to hit that Golden Buzzer! Which means that Quin & Misha are now automatically get sent to the Live Shows round of AGT in just a few weeks.
The video was posted on America’s Got Talent’s Facebook page and in under an hour, it had nearly 300,000 views, over 7,000 reactions, and nearly 3,000 shares.
One Facebook user wrote:
Wow…. She’s amazing!! She doesn’t look 71!! I’m not even that flexible and she can do flips and split just like that. Thumbs up. She deserved the golden buzzer.
However, a different Facebook user felt that the didn’t deserve the Golden Buzzer. They wrote:
I give her credit at her age to be dancing. However this act does not deserve the golden buzzer. All they did was spin around and lift. No real dancing at all. Need some real footwork and not so much lifting and throwing in the air. Sorry
