Beatboxing is a musical technique that’s especially popular within the hip hop community.
It is the art of mimicking drum machines using mouth, lips, tongue and voice. Beatboxing has become very popular among younger generations. Some beatboxers try to sound like record players and others aim to achieve a musical instrument’s sound.
It continues to grow in popularity and many countries have national beatboxing competitions. This video shows a very young beatboxer who captivates the attention of the whole class.

This boy is very good at what he does! The way he prepares for his little show at the beginning is very funny. He hits himself in the chest a bit and gargles and finally, he’s ready. From the moment he starts producing different sounds and beatboxing, the whole class turns towards him.
He is obviously very shy, but beatboxing gives him a lot of confidence.
It is beautiful to see how he turns to a different, charismatic person from the moment he starts doing what he likes! Even though he wears glasses and is relatively quiet, he still blows everyone in the room away with his hidden talent. Before long, he’s busting out a truly impressive beat and everyone is turning to watch him perform!

Although his performance is great on its own merits, part of what’s so enjoyable about it is that it reminds us to share the weird and interesting parts of ourselves. Even if nobody expected him to be a beatboxer, the whole room still turned to support him without any questions asked!

This young teenager has a lot of videos of him beatboxing and they are all fabulous. His classmates think that he’s “legit” and we hope that he becomes very famous one day. We are sure that his talent will get him far and we wish him a lot of luck. After all, beatboxing is not easy and the way he does it impresses everyone. Considering the fact that he’s very young, we can only predict all the things that await him in a couple of years!
