Do you remember what you were doing at six years old? I, for one, was not winning national dance championships, that’s for sure.
Meet the QT CREW!
These sassy pint-sized dancers are an award-winning dance troupe from Clydebank, Scotland, near Glasgow. The girls practice in a studio owned by 24-year-old April Stuart Macrae, who also choreographs their routines. According to the ‘About’ section of their Facebook page, the girls “are Scotland’s under 10’s ‘6 Nations Champions 2016’ and World Qualifiers 2017.”
After these achievements, their coach decided they were up for a challenge! In the late months of 2016, April packed up the girls and headed to England for the season 11 Britain’s Got Talent auditions.
As per usual, April choreographed the girls’ routine and helped them train their little butts off. “The kids are used to just doing hip-hop,” she said. “But I told them for Britain’s Got Talent, we’re going to do something different.”
When it’s time for the girls’ first performance in front of the judges, they walk onto the stage wearing sparkly pink outfits and big, white bows.
They chat with the judges, revealing that if they won the prize money, they’d “take a holiday— with no mums are dads.”
When it’s time for them to strut their stuff, they line up on stage and begin a sweet routine to the song “My Boy Lollipop”.
At this point in time, Simon does not look impressed.
Then, to everyone’s surprise, the music suddenly shifts into “Whip My Hair”, a high-energy rap song, as the girls rip away their dresses to reveal dark-colored hip-hop attire.
Now Simon is looking more interested.
Whipping their back and forth, the girls break into a stunning, breakdance routine.
The sassy, pint-sized dancers have their moves on point, as they bounce, handspring, and pop-and-lock across the stage. You can tell they’re used to performing; even their expressions are perfect.
“I was actually sitting here, thinking I am losing the will to live when I heard ‘My Boy Lollipop’,” Simon tells them, afterward. “Then, you fooled us.”
“You are like mini ninjas, all of you.”
When it’s time for the vote, the girls’ get a resounding ‘yes’ from David Walliams, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Simon.
People are enamored by their clever bait-and-switch, as well as their unbelievable dance skills.
Since being uploaded to YouTube, the girls’ performance has been viewed more than 3.5 million times. Comments on the video read:

“Oh my gosh! How cute!”

Although the girls made it to the next round, they didn’t make it to the semi-finals. Still, however, as their Facebook page reveals, they’re not letting it get them down.
