Some dancers are in a league of their own.

They put together routines that leave the audience stunned—and leave viewers wondering how they could even pull off such mesmerizing performances? In this video, two professional dancers enact a dramatic routine where a puppet master brings his dancing “puppet” to life and she mimics his every move. Although all professional dancers are impressive, the moves these two pull off are some of the best.

To put it simply: this dancing duo is incredible, and every single one of their movements is right on cue.

Though there are plenty, this routine is one of the best from the World of Dance competition.

It all starts with someone hiding under a white sheet covering something on stage. Before long, the puppet master comes out and yanks off the sheet to reveal his creation. It’s a lady puppet, slumped over and limp. A moment later, he starts to wind her up and get her ready to dance.

Now that the puppet is upright, the puppet master circles her as if he’s giving her an examination. Suddenly, he points at places on her body and she reacts immediately, popping her arms and shoulders like a robot.

Every move the puppet master makes is mirrored by the puppet.

From the beginning to the end, the dancers’ timing is perfect and the crowd immediately loves them! The crowd starts to cheer as the dancers move together in unison, like they’re the same person! As the puppet steps off her platform, the real show begins—and it’s all the more impressive.

With every jolt of his body, the puppet master’s creation imitates perfectly. Move after move, the dancers put on a brilliant show that the audience won’t be soon to forget.

It’s clear from the onset that this is a difficult routine that takes extreme concentration to pull off.

To be completely honest, we’re not even entirely sure how they do some of the gravity-defying tricks. The dancers roll, pop, and contort their bodies in ways that seem unnatural and unreal.

Throughout the whole routine, the puppet master and puppet never break character. As a matter of fact, they don’t miss a single beat as their flawless performance unfolds.

At the end of the routine, the puppet turns evil and takes over the puppet master—and their roles are dramatically reversed.

Now, it’s the puppet master who is subject to the control and manipulation, and the whole thing takes a turn. By adding in a dramatic twist towards the end, these two take an already impressive performance up yet another level.

To end the show, the puppet guides the puppet master onto the standing-block that she was originally standing on. When it’s all over, the crowd gives them a big round of applause. The internet went wild over this puppet master dance, sending it viral and helping it amass millions of views.
