Together they put on quite the show. Especially since their appearances were so drastically different.

While some of it will never understand it, there are people who choose extreme body modifications. When we say extreme, we mean EXTREME. This isn’t just about crazy hair colors and tattoos, but body piercings (everywhere), split tongues, and more. Unfortunately, there’s a stigma that goes along with people who look this way.

Let’s face it, if you saw a group of young people with spiked, colored hair, tattoo sleeves, and eyebrow, tongue, and lip piercings, you might feel the need to turn around and run as fast as you can. But, most of these people are perfectly normal. The only difference is they enjoy making major and often bizarre changes to their bodies.

A world of artists

Not all, but a lot of people into extreme body modification have outstanding artistic abilities. Some are painters, other sculptures, and yet some highly talented musicians. So, just because they don’t look like you and me, it’s not fair to judge them from appearance only.

Setting a piano on fire

No, not in the sense of taking a match to it but by playing Jazz, the Blues, and Boogie Woogie like you’ve never heard before. That’s what three, body extremists did. By their outward appearance, you’d never guess they were incredibly talented piano players. But they proved it one day when performing on a public piano.

A video of them playing went viral

With over 1.2 million views to date, people were shocked, in a good way, when watching a video that’s now gone viral. It starts with three people who obviously appreciate extreme body modification. There’s a young man in a leather vest, spiked red hair, and lots of tattoos, including the majority of his face. There’s also a blonde-haired girl and another guy sitting at the piano in a jean-studded jacket and blue spiked hair.

They know how to tickle the ivory

It appears the public piano is in a shopping mall. The video starts off with the one guy seated at the piano playing some Jazz. You can tell they’re into it as they bob their heads to the beat. Initially, no one seems to be paying much attention to them. But as the sound of the music fills the air, that soon changes.

A stranger joins the trio

At one point, a clean-cut middle-aged man walks up to the piano and says, “Try this one.” With that, he starts playing some Boogie Woogie. The guy with the blue spiked hair looks at him and then slides over so the man can sit next to him on the piano bench. Then, they begin playing a song together.

Their appearance might be in complete contrast but they share a love of music

There they are, two strangers with probably two different views of life, sharing a special moment at a public piano. This is why you should never “judge a book by its cover.” For several minutes, the two keep playing a variety of songs while the other two body extremists clap and move their heads from side to side.

Singing the Blues

Eventually, the dude with the blue spiked hair stands up, allowing the clean-cut man to play solo. That’s when they all start singing. Not only do they have talent on the piano, but they also have great voices. Before long, the punk-looking guy starts to play again. For the people standing around watching, this must’ve been an amazing experience.
