When you hear a song that you love, you just can’t help from belting out all of the words at the top of your lungs, right? It can’t just be me!

There is just something about music that speaks to your soul. There’s a reason people dance to music to express themselves!

This is true for people of all ages, young and old. It seems that children are able to be more free with themselves when they sing because they never feel the need to be embarrassed by their actions.

One little girl made headlines after she stole the show at her preschool graduation!

If you’ve ever been to a preschool graduation, you know that the graduating class sings a song (or several) for their proud parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family friends in attendance.

One mom had her camera at the ready for her daughter’s pre-k graduation ceremony and it is a good thing she was prepared. Because Michelle Neshin caught something amazing on camera!

Her daughter’s class was singing “How Far I’ll Go” from the popular Disney movie, Moana.

The lyrics are very easy to get into:

See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me
And no one knows, how far it goes
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
One day I’ll know, if I go there’s just no telling how far I’ll go

Sure enough, Michelle’s daughter got very into the music. She was standing front and center on the stage and it was all too easy for her to steal the show.

As the music to “How Far I’ll Go,” Sophia can be seen sing-shouting along to the music, occasionally stomping her foot to add emphasis to the song.

Michelle shared the video of her daughter Sophia on YouTube and it became an instant viral hit. The video has nearly 3 million views on the original YouTube page and over 18 million views on Facebook.

The caption of the video said:

4 year old Sophia slays her graduation performance. The children were supposed to perform a mellow rendition of Moana’s How far Ill go … she clearly missed the memo!

When you watch the video, it should come as no surprise why this went viral. Little Sophia is a natural superstar! She was born for the stage.

It was covered by news stations, like Inside Edition, because it was gaining so much steam online.

One commenter wrote on YouTube:

I think ONE of the most amazing things about her performance is that she didn’t nail one of her co-stars with her flailing about! Very nice to see a young-un showing so much passion AND restraint at the same time! You go, Sophia!
