The Petersens’ bluegrass version of “Bohemian Rhapsody” is already making a splash online.

In the video, the four siblings share microphones in the middle and begin with Queen’s unforgettable intro. All of them have been gifted with a beautiful voice – so when they sing together it’s like a small choir from up above.

They put a little spin on the ballad section of “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The Petersens replace the iconic piano playing with the sounds of their stringed instruments – giving it that bluegrass feel. Matt sings the solo with some backup from his sisters, and the whole combination is divine.

When they arrive at the operatic portion of the song, it’s another awesome blend of talents.

The baby of the family, Julianne, starts out with the whimsical lyrics. But soon her siblings jump in and they completely nail the section together (in their own way).

Three minutes and fifty seconds in they hit the rock section, and do it Petersen-style.

Even though they’re skilled musicians, learning the British rock band’s tune wasn’t easy for the group. In the YouTube description they wrote:

“This is without a doubt the hardest song we have ever learned!!! We promised our Patreon community that once we reached a certain goal we would release this video, but we had no idea the challenge that we would be undertaking. Hope you guys enjoy all the crazy parts of this song!”
