He often busks in places in Paris such as Sacré Coeur, Saint Michel, Notre Dame, the Champ de Mars and even the famous Champs-Elysees. He always has that special quality that always pulls crowds towards him.
As the video begins, he stands ready to share his music with the crowd.
It’s a night like any other, and all the street lights are on, illuminating the vibrant nightlife on Champs-Elysees.
In the center of the avenue, you can see Yuri Menna with his acoustic guitar. It almost seems like there was a huge concert going on in the square as there seemed to be a large volume of people present to watch him sing. Moments later, Menna proceeded to give the people what they wanted.
Yuri Menna performs a creative medley of songs that his crowd were not aware of.
Most of the people in the crowd were already holding their phones up to record the melodious occasion.
Menna started with a Beatles classic, “Let It Be.” He was quite the entertainer, and he hyped the crowd by letting them pitch into some of the parts of the song. Menna even sang one of the choruses in French!
Still, Menna surprised his audience by suddenly transitioning to a Bob Marley song.
As the crowd was enjoying the Beatles vibe, the chord and the beat pattern suddenly changed when Menna asked them to clap their hands.
Menna sang “No Woman, No Cry” by reggae star Bob Marley and the crowd loved it.
At some parts of the song, he hilariously slipped in some humor by asking the men to change the lyrics into “No Woman, No Buy.”
The wordplay was a joke about husbands who have to buy too many things for their wives! Afterward, Menna moved on to the next song, which was Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours.”
Menna kept the entertainment coming with more songs.
He was tirelessly singing song after song!
Before long, he switched things up to perform the Brazilian song “Ai Se Eu Te Pego” by Michel Teló. The Brazilians and some locals who were familiar with the song happily joined him in the singing.
Next up, he sang one of Bobby McFerrin’s songs called “Don’t Worry Be Happy” and finally “Lemon Tree” by the Fool’s Garden.
The entire time, he exudes fun and enthusiastic energy to encourage his audience to keep themselves in high spirits as they listened in.
He uploaded the video of his performance online, which managed to rack up 2.4 million views on YouTube!
People were fascinated to see Menna perform as a one-man band during the entire show.
It was amazing how he compressed six songs into just seven minutes, and in that short time, he made everyone sing, dance and laugh at the same time! It was truly a wondrous moment for everyone on the scene.
