Weโ€™re willing to bet that Blanco Brown had no idea his track โ€œThe Git Upโ€ would become the next chart-topping country hit. However, thatโ€™s exactly what happened when the Git Up Challenge got started.

The song inspired thousands of people all around the world to create their own dance videos moving to the smooth hip-hop and country beat. Not all of them were civilians either.

The Git Up Challenge also included several police officers in the mix.

There were two officers hailing from Houston, Texas that really stole the show. Their video performance is something that you just have to check out for yourself.

Their smooth moves proved that even guys in uniform can let loose every once in a while.

Being a police officer is a pretty serious job, but that doesnโ€™t mean there isnโ€™t occasional time to have some fun too.

These guys sure know how to rock a uniform.

Thatโ€™s for sure. With their sexy swagger, their version of the Git Up Challenge was almost guaranteed to go viral.

They are so smooth, in fact, that some YouTube commenters are even considering committing crimes to get on the two menโ€™s radar.

The stylish officers have people literally begging to be arrested!

โ€œOfficersโ€ฆโ€I did itโ€๐Ÿ™Œโ€ฆpleeez come and git me!!! Lol๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„,โ€ jokes one woman.

Another comment mentions the goofy and fun aspects of the video.

If the purpose of this is to promote community engagement and connect with the people of a city, Iโ€™d say these two officers have done the job!

โ€œThey dance like two uncles at a cookout. Love this ๐Ÿ˜‚โคโ€

While being compared to a couple of โ€œunclesโ€ may not sound like heartthrob-talk, itโ€™s clear that these fun-loving cops are loveable in many ways.

Although, many are definitely focused on the looks too!

โ€œThese are 2 handsome cops right here!๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒนโ€
Itโ€™s clear that these two have practiced a lot before shooting this video, although they donโ€™t seem afraid to put their own personality into the routine.

Officer Williams on the left seems to have his moves down!

He dances with precision and style, clearly, he has spent a lot of time on dance floors!

On the right we have Officer Lahar, who brings a laid-back swagger to the routine.

It seems this officerโ€™s style is more in looking cool than sticking the landing. Either way, he pulls off the โ€œcoolโ€ for sure.

The difference in these officerโ€™s styles can mostly be seen when the pair break into a freestyle at around the halfway mark.

When Blanco Brown yells โ€œDo whatever you like now, just have fun!โ€, the boys oblige!

Officer Williams breaks out the finger guns for his big move. OK, that is a little like an uncle at a BBQ! Good thing for this particular cop, heโ€™s got so much style he makes it work. Of course, both he and his partner in (fighting) crime never let go of their water bottles the whole time. Is this just for the โ€œGoinโ€™ throw down, take a sip with itโ€ line of the song, or are these two simply promoting hydration? Or both?

Of course it wouldnโ€™t be a Git Up challenge without a stream of comments from people begging to be apprehended by the officers in question.

โ€œArrest me!! Iโ€™ve been a bad girl ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚โ€

Maybe thatโ€™s why crime rates rise sometimesโ€ฆ

Watch below to check out these two smooth-steppinโ€™ like a couple oโ€™ country boys!
