No one likes walking into work in the early morning. Well, almost no one.

There’s always at least one cheerful “morning person” ready and willing to take on the day.

Corporal Eric Hudson is that person.

In a world that shies away from dancing to the beat of life’s drum, Corporal Hudson does just the opposite.

He’s putting pep in people’s step.

The corporal isn’t taking on dance challenges for internet clout and he’s not abandoning his duties.

Rather, he’s making work fun again.

He doesn’t wait on sunny days to cultivate his positive energy, either.

On cloudy days, he brings sunshine.

The Cleveland Clinic is just like any other medical establishment where health workers and medical frontliners come and go, oftentimes with their energy drained.

Not to mention people who are in and out of the building because of their loved ones fighting to get that clean bill of health.

They could use a dose of happy.

Despite the usual gloomy day within its vicinity, people can’t help but notice a police officer who is shining like a bright sun in the morning.

With his impeccable lively dance moves, upbeat music, and positive aura, he’s giving everyone a reason to smile.

This all-smiles officer is making rounds not just on social media but also on news channels.

For those who already saw him in action, you should know by now why officer Hudson became an instant celebrity.

“Good morning! Welcome to the Cleveland Clinic!”

That’s how you’d be greeted by this cheerful officer on the road while he’s managing the traffic.

Equipped not with a firearm but with a Bluetooth speaker, he dances and bounces while spreading some love and good vibes to people who are going in and out of the hospital.

From medical workers, patients, and even those who are just passing by, everyone gets a dose of officer Hudson’s happy pill.

Something that we all need during these trying times, let alone for medical workers who are tirelessly working long hours.

We need more officers like him.

In fact, we need more people like him, who would unhesitatingly give a smile to everyone and spread nothing but positivity.

While a lot of bad things have been said about police authorities, we can’t just simply ignore the fact that a lot of them are still willing to go above and beyond their sworn duty.

Guarding cross walks is only a part of his duty.

Spreading joy is his mission.
