If you live in a big city, you’re probably used to the fast-paced life.

In New York, you might observe that the city is continuously evolving. The city is so diverse, filled with almost all kinds of people around the world. New York’s unpredictable interactions are what makes it so interesting—and this video shows that phenomenon so perfectly.

Going along with diversity and unpredictability is busking, which is common in the streets of New York.

These aspiring talents have different reasons for why they perform on the streets regularly. Perhaps they do it to survive by making use of their talents to make a living, perhaps they want to be widely recognized, or both!

Whatever the reason, they perform their crafts for a broad diverse audience… and as a result, some wonderful moments can happen out of it unexpectedly.

When it came to this violinist, his tune was so catchy that the men walking by couldn’t resist but to dance to it. A group of friends just happen to pass by this Venezuelan violinist performing late night on Times Square. The violinist is playing a violin cover of Ty Dolla $ign’s song, “Ex.” Even if you’re not familiar with it, this man’s skills are undeniable!

As this clip shows, whether it’s night or day, New York City never stops having fun!

Though everyone liked the performance, four people were particularly captivated by the violinist.

The four friends could not resist but to put their foot and run it down on the dance floor! Each one of them performed their version of the Harlem Shake.

The first one to bust his crazy dance moves was the guy wearing a gray shirt and a black cap, followed by three other members as they performed an exhilarating and electrifying set of dance moves. Their spontaneous performance on the street was amazing to watch.

This group of friends brought even more fun to this empty corner!

It was already late at night, so it’s probably expected that only a few people would be around to see the street performer. Even so, the few people who saw him made the moment so exciting and hilarious!

They had fun shaking their whole body, swinging their arms, and randomly executing hilarious dance moves.

For his part, the violinist was getting a kick out of it too!

He was never distracted and instead, he continued to accompany them and showed off his skills throughout the whole performance.

The level of awesomeness in this street performance is off the charts!

It was originally posted by Instagram user Juneelite on his account, but it reached YouTube after Lu Jerz uploaded it in August 2018.

Since then, the clip has reached 6.3 million views and 384,000 likes in no time.

As it turns out, this Venezuelan violinist has a rich backstory to tell of his own.

His name is Wuilly Arteaga, and before Juneelite and his friends passed him busking in Times Square, he had spent his whole life in Venezuela. While he was there, he taught himself how to play the violin by watching a bunch of YouTube videos.

Arteaga eventually got recognized and was sent to El Sistema, one of Venezuela’s prestigious music schools.

In 2017, he played his violin as an act of protest—and he even went to jail because of it! After his release, he fled to the US and now uses his talent to busk in New York City. We have to say: it seems like coming to NYC was the right decision!
