Norwegian Royal Guard does impressive mass choreography to MJ’s “Thriller”
Plenty of crowds have tried this dance, but this is one of our favorites!

Everyone has heard Michael Jackson’s music.

When it comes to popular music, it doesn’t get any bigger than “Thriller” by Michael Jackson. The legendary song has inspired people from all around the world—even the Norwegian Royal Guard. The massive group of highly trained soldiers went viral for performing the hit song in brilliant fashion.

These guys are seriously impressive!

The Norwegian Royal Guard performs “Thriller” with precision and style.

For those who don’t know, the Norwegian Royal Guard is also known Hans Majestet Kongens Garde, and they were formally formed in 1856. Their two responsibilities are protecting the royal family and being the first line of defense for the capital of Norway, Oslo.

In this video, the soldiers serving in the HMKG surprise everyone with a super cool version of one of the most famous songs of all time.

In the beginning, the soldiers march in front of the massive building with the drummers leading the way.

Every soldier is perfectly in sync with one another.

The way they march exactly in cue with each other is mind-boggling, and their timing is something that takes vigorous training and fierce dedication.

At first, the soldiers play some beautiful marching music to get warmed up and ready for the real show.

No one watching has any idea that the HMKG is about to bust out some classic Michael Jackson music.

The first MJ song they begin to play is “The Way You Make Me Feel.”

At 1:40 into the video, you hear the leader give them some commands before they do some swift arm movements and begin playing the well-known song.

Not only do they play “The Way You Make Me Feel” on their instruments, but they also do some phenomenal marching choreography that is completely mesmerizing. At one point, the soldiers walk full speed toward each other and flawlessly pass through without anyone colliding.

That’s when they switch to “Thriller” and the real show begins!

The soldiers of the Norwegian Royal Gaurd start playing the epic song while staying right on time with each other. It’s like they’re all working from the same brain!

They kick their knees high, swing their arms, spin their bodies around and take turns playing the famous song.

When the soldiers break off to form three groups, each group does an extraordinary job of timing their movements just right.

In the last minute of the performance, the soldiers really pick it up a notch.

When it comes time for the last part of the show, the HMKG blast their instruments as loud as they can and swiftly march together in one last fabulous display of remarkable precision.

People on the internet absolutely loved the performance by the Norwegian Royal Gaurd, and music lovers from all over watched it on YouTube.

The Royal Guard’s performance of “Thriller” has been viewed over 4.1 million times, with 29,000 that have also liked it.

Not only has it blown up with views and likes, but over 1,900 have also left comments for the musical soldiers and their impressive marching.

“Absolutely fabulous, and not one wally insight, and there is normally one. One can only imagine how many hours were spent on the parade square practicing, well done perfect,” said one YouTube user.
