Noelle is one of those passionate singers who was born with talent in their veins. She comes from Ontario, Canada, where she grew up with her musically-talented family.

At the young age of eight, Noelle became a finalist on the reality show Karaoke Star Jr. Shortly after, she got her biggest boost by winning YTV’s competition, Virtual Next Star.

The singer has created dozens of videos over the last decade and has covered artists like Adele, Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, and Christina Aguilera. One performance that sticks out, however, is her haunting version of “Mary, Did You Know?.”

Get ready for goosebumps listening to Noelle croon the lyrics to the powerful Christmas song. According to Dance for Kindness, people have described her vocals as being “unique, full of passion, with a beautiful tone.”

Although “Mary, Did You Know?” is a popular Christmas tune, it’s not as old as many others. The first version was recorded in 1991 by Christian singer, Michael English.

But since then, there have been numerous other renditions created of the song, some of which even became hits. Musicians like Clay Aiken, Pentatonix, and Reba McEntire all covered “Mary Did You Know?” – and Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd sang it as a duet.

The lyrics (which were written by Mark Lowry) famously ask Mary questions about her Son, Jesus. Some of them are as follows:

“Mary, did you know
That your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
That your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you”

It’s the time of year to be giving, loving, and to spread good cheer. On top of being a talented singer, Noelle’s also a person who believes in kindness too.

In an interview with Dance for Kindness, she said:

“Kindness is addictive. Kindness not only benefits the one on the receiving end, but in some ways it benefits the giver even more. If we all take a little time out of each day to show kindness, the world would be so different right now. “
