La Chona took North America by storm in 2018.

As a spinoff of Drake’s “In My Feelings” challenge, this particular craze involved people jumping out of moving cars all while singing and dancing along to “La Chona.”

While not remotely safe, we can see its appeal.

This challenge involved bringing your best, and most athletic, foot forward.

It involved practice, exercise, and most importantly, fun. In fact, the “La Chona” challenge was so popular that several celebrities, including Snoop Dog, recorded covers!

One particular video that caught our eye is this remake by YouTube star, Tio Choka.

That mustache, though. Is it construction paper? Rubber? Plastic?

I can’t even tell, but I do know one thing…

It’s freaking awesome.

The video begins with Tio bopping his head to the beat of the famous song “La Chona,” from the band Los Tucanes De Tijuana.

“La Chona” song is widely popular throughout Mexico and other parts of Latin America.

It’s a fan favorite!

This is exactly what Tio hopes to achieve in this particular video.

Known for bringing communities together through music and dance, Tio has this entire Texas neighborhood out for some fun.

Just a few moments into the song, Tio jumps out of a moving truck and onto the street.

He starts with a sort of dance-run combo.

Honestly, his footwork is impressive!

He makes it work.

If we’re being completely honest, this dance looks more like a workout than anything.

I’m tired just watching!

Dancing truly is a great way to get your daily cardio!

After a few moments of solo dancing, the local community jumps into the fun!

They know what they’re doing!

With instruments and cowboy boots, they’re ready to go.

The group continues to make their way down the street, all while dancing to the rhythm of this popular hit.

Tio continues his performance all while holding a keyboard, but we never see him stroke a single key.

A man then pulls out a bow and arrow.

Fortunately, he didn’t actually shoot it!

The party continues as people of all ages join in on the fun!

Well, I guess the party had to end eventually, right?

Honestly, I am not even sure about what I just watched, but I definitely had fun watching.

The video ends with Tio diving back into the bed of the moving truck.

Disclaimer: you may go deep down the rabbit hole with this one, watching so many videos in a row that you don’t even realize that two whole hours have gone by.

Yes, I’m projecting because I did it.

But the fun doesn’t have to stop there!

Tio Choko is available for live bookings.

That’s right, folks. Tio will show up at any of your events: quinceanera, wedding, high school reunion.

You name it, and he’ll be there.

Tio Choko has had the epitome of an unconventional career path.

Honestly, I am still not even sure quite what this man does for a living. He’s somehow a performer, comedian, and friendly neighbor all wrapped into one.

This man will literally show up to your wedding, fiesta, or street to get you up and dancing.

His upbeat demeanor, lively songs, and multiple personalities can liven any mood. He brings everyone together in a rather unusual way.

Tio truly is everything 2020 needs and then some.
