You might remember the song from the 1940s Disney classic “Pinocchio.” Sung by a character named Jiminy Cricket, the song sends a positive message about dreaming and hoping. You’d think this particular version to be a somewhat curious song choice for two ballerinas (seeing as how ballet is typically associated with classical music) but unsurprisingly, the two lovely ladies made it work with their lyrical dance expertise.
Dressed in matching blue and white dresses and sporting simple ponytails that showed off their striking facial features, the duo glided and pirouetted across the stage gracefully, smiles on their faces the whole time. Watch out for the jumps, lifting, and impressive display of flexibility and poise.
They illuminated the broad, dark stage with their charm and brought the song’s meaning to life.
