You will remember the name Morissette Amon after seeing this unbelievable live cover of “Never “Enough”.

Johanne Morissette Daug Amon-Lamar was the runner-up on TV5‘s Star Factor at the young age of 14. She made her professional stage debut in the Repertory Philippines stage.

Amon took the role of Mitchie Torress for the adaptation of Disney’s Camp Rock.

This just one among many of Morissette’s crazy covers live.

“Never Enough” is that pop ballad that helped make The Greatest Showman a very popular film.

The song is performed by Jenny Lind, a Swedish virtuoso singer played by Rebecca Ferguson. Lind was a real-life opera singer, considered as one of the greatest soprano voices of the 1800s.

Now Ferguson is a great actress but that doesn’t mean that she’s a singer at the level of Lind.

So here comes a fantastic singer named Loren Allred now synonymous with the song, so much so that she even impressed David Foster.

Allred’s recording makes its way on stage where she sings it no differently.

Allred is an amazing talent.

It is a song that requires range. Not everybody can sing this ballad, so to do it live is a feat reserved for the truly talented and gifted. Here’s where Morissette delivers.

In the Philippines, you will find almost everyone singing. From inside their homes, to karaoke bars, during parties, and so on. Singing is very much part of the culture.

And it doesn’t matter if you can’t really sing.

Some, like Morissette, were probably born with the gift and only needed to hone her voice before joining talent shows and winning them. Because she blows this song through the roof.

Morissette can sing in the whistle register with ease.

Think Mariah Carey. And it is precisely Mariah that inspired Amon to practice and perfect her craft. Listen to Amon serenade her fans.

“This woman need to make a world tour. Those who want to enjoy real performance, no lip sync, outstanding voice, pure talent, real music, they will surely buy the ticket.” says one of her fans in the comments section.

He’s not wrong though.

Morissette has covered Beyonce’s “Love on top”, Heart’s “What about love”, and Christina Perri’s “Jar of hearts” among many other hits.

If she can sing “Never Enough” live, with ease, then what’s to stop her from doing an amazing job on many other songs?

Morissette hits that crazy high note and holds it, allowing her fans to soak in the experience as they cheer her on. She holds it for as long as she can, not dropping or faltering even once.

And to think she’s only 26.
