Football Players Think Rally Is Over Then Moms Take Over The Floor
They're all great, but the Mom in the front has really got the moves. :)

These moms just literally stole the entire show all in support of a high school football team. Their kids may be members of the football squad and whatever but really, these moms did a way better job of pumping up that crowd than those cheerleaders!

April Williams, 39, of Cibolo, Texas and the mother of football player C.J. Williams, was the mastermind who brought 11 moms together for Steele High School’s surprise playoff pep rally performance.

April shared,

“The boys are doing really well this year and we wanted to something to show our support for them.”

It’s funny when you think of a bunch of moms sneaking out of the house just to meet somewhere so they could practice their moves. Must have brought back tons of memories for them!

These women danced to popular hits, including Silentó’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” and iHeart Memphis’ “Hit the Quan“.

An announcement is made for a surprise number, and as soon as the words come out, the moms walk out on to the court single file, wearing masks and more than ready to show those kids that momma’s still got it.

Melissa Fields, mom of Isaiah Fields, says it took lots of practice and courage to walk out on that court knowing full well that those kids knew the dances by heart. No one wants their mom to embarrass them in front of the school!

They had a secret weapon though, a Steele student named Jada Brown, who thankfully choreographed the routine for the willing moms.

“My legs were shaky and it felt like my knees were going to buckle. It was cool to come out of our comfort zone and show support for the boys.”

Says Mrs. Fields.

It involved a lot of watching just to get the moves right. So imagine a group of moms checking out those videos. To rehearse it for an entire school? That takes a lot of guts.

The bleachers are packed and as soon as they remove their masks, a stunned silence takes over the crowd. Up until the music starts playing and that familiar dance kicks in. The kids love it! Go moms!

They suddenly don’t look so old, do they? Come on, kids!

When the “stanky leg” comes up, they kick it into a higher gear, getting their groove on while flaunting their own moves. Their football loving sons must have had collective jaws on the hardwood!

No problems working those hips and limbs out there. These moms got style and lots of life left in them. They should be invited to the next big school party. Red cups with booze, loud music and wild teenagers just like in the movies!

Just make sure there’s no one named Stifler around.

As awesome and as amazing as these moms were for stepping out there to support their sons and the school, the best part came when the song stopped and the dancing ended.

The moms where ready to exit the court but they came back around to meet their sons halfway, each mom hugging her own son in front of everyone present. And yes, that moment happened amidst a standing ovation.
