Babies love to hear their mothers sing to them. In many cases, a baby will stop crying and calm down when his mother starts singing to him. Some mothers like to sing lullabies and others like to make up songs to entertain their babies.
One mother recently recorded herself singing a worship song to her baby.
How he reacted shocked her.
The mother starts to sing a song called “Good Good Father.” The lyrics are:
“I’ve heard a thousand stories of what they think you’re like
But I’ve heard the tender whispers of love in the dead of night
And you tell me that you’re pleased
And that I’m never alone
You’re a good father
It’s who you are, it’s who you are, it’s who you are
And I’m loved by you
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am”
“I’ve seen many searching for answers far and wide
But I know we’re all searching
For answers only you provide
‘Cause you know just what we need
Before we say a word
You’re a good good father
It’s who you are, it’s who you are, it’s who you are
And I’m loved by you
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am
Because you are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways to us
You are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways to us
Oh, it’s love so undeniable
I, I can hardly speak
Peace so unexplainable
I, I can hardly think
As you call me deeper still
As you call me deeper still
As you call me deeper still
Into love, love, love”
“You’re a good good father
It’s who you are, it’s who you are, it’s who you are
And I’m loved by you
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am
You’re a good good father
It’s who you are, it’s who you are, it’s who you are
And I’m loved by you
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am
You’re a good good father
It’s who you are, it’s who you are, it’s who you are
And I’m loved by you
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am
You’re a good good father
You are perfect in all of your ways
It’s who you are, it’s who you are, it’s who you are
And I’m loved by you
You are perfect in all of your ways
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am”
When she starts singing, the baby immediately starts to pay attention to her.
Her voice is beautiful and very melodic, and she hits every note with ease. Her baby starts to smile and is completely calm, but then his expression changes.
Tears start to run down the baby’s face. He doesn’t appear to be upset but rather moved by the beautiful song. It’s as if his mother’s song touched his heart as if he felt the spirit of God and was simply overwhelmed by it.
The mother continues to sing and record her son’s reaction.
The baby’s mother seems to think that the baby is feeling something special from the song and is happy to see that her words have gotten through to him. Even though he is tiny, he can still understand the power and love of God.
It’s clear that this baby’s mother is very religious and will continue to sing worship songs to her young son and teach him about God.
She must be doing something right if her songs can touch this baby at such a young age. As long as she continues to guide him down this path, she will likely have a son who is as passionate about God as his mother.
