It is always heartwarming to listen to young kids sing, and it is even more fun when parents are involved too! It is really so important for parents to join their children in their favorite activities and to always remember that they were once kids too.

In fact, experts agree that singing with your children can be more beneficial for them than you could ever imagine. More specifically, it enhances their emotional intelligence and social skills, it can foster emotional attachment, while it also develops a variety of skills (musical, mathematical skills, literacy, vocabulary, and more).

And that’s something to remember when your child asks you to sing along their favorite song with them and go for it instead of saying “I have more important things to do right now”.

Besides all that, some kids’ songs are really catchy, so much so that even adults like them! Like “Love’s an open door” from Disney’s “Frozen”, originally sang by Princess Anna and Prince Hans (Kristen Bell and Santino Fontana).

Aubrey Marceaux of Puyallup, Washington, decided to offer her Facebook friends an opportunity to admire hers and her daughter’s acting skills a few years ago, when she posted a video on her profile of herself and her daughter, Teigan, lip-syncing to that song.

In the video in question, we can see mama and daughter not only lip-syncing but also acting their roles perfectly! The little girl is super excited about doing this with her mom, while the woman is also enthusiastic about their duet.

The way Teigan moves her hands and her head, while she also tries to clearly articulate the lyrics so that her “singing” looks more realistic is adorable. In all honesty, she does a great job as does her mom, who performs her part flawlessly.

The original post on Facebook was shared more than 180,000 times, and her video was later featured on Ellen DeGeneres, and local news outlets.

“This video is absolutely adorable, funny, cute & a lot of fun to watch!!” someone commented on her post, while another Facebook user wrote “I thnk it’s a great effort and a once in a lifetime opportunity for the child to understand effort and reward!!!”

After the Facebook success, Aubrey decided to post it on YouTube, too, so she created a YouTube channel, where this lip-sync video was the first one she posted almost six years ago.

Ellen commented about their video that it might be the cutest of all the YouTube videos inspired by “Frozen”.

She even invited the adorable duo to her show and they had the chance to talk about it in detail. During the interview, Aubrey admitted that she expected about 50 likes from her friends, but she never saw this viral thing coming!

Teigan also talked about her being a Frozen fan and knowing all the lyrics by heart. She also said that her little brother often sang along with her, but she admitted that she sometimes got mad at him because she wanted to sing all the parts.

After their first video together, Aubrey has posted seven more videos, most of which feature little Teigan and their adventures together. Apparently the young girl has some artistic talent, because there are more lip-sync videos of her and a couple of dance videos.

You can watch the duo’s super cute performance in the video below.
