Do you remember The Moffatts?

If you don’t, they were a Canadian band that sang country-rock in the 1980s, though they gradually faded from popularity over time. Even so, the brothers are back at it again with a great cover of another ’80s hit.

And they couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place to shoot their video.

The song they decided to cover was Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors.”

Though their interpretation of the song was great on its own, it was made even better because it was filmed in a bed full of flowers at Chiang Rai, Thailand. The Singha Park is known for its gigantic fields filled with a wide variety of flowers.

It is one of the great natural attractions in Thailand.

Standing in the middle of rainbow-hued fields, the Moffatts played their hearts out! Their beautiful, rich voices accompanied by two acoustic guitars are a perfect fit for the background of the park.

In addition to the soft strumming of their guitars, they also back it up with serene-sounding harmonies that are enough to give anyone goosebumps! Together, their harmonious delivery paired with the skillful cinematography of this video are perfectly aesthetic in every way.

This piece became a worldwide hit on YouTube, and was appreciated by millions of viewers.

The Canadian duo started their music career at the early age of four. They were the youngest band to sign a major record label from Polydor Records along with their other brothers, Scott and Dave. In all, they recorded seven albums and sold six million records over the course of their career before officially disbanding in 2001. Even so, Clint and Bob got their musical careers going again in 2006.

Since then, the brothers have also gone on to other creative ventures as well.

The brothers are now a duo called Music, Travel and Love (MTL) and they’re back playing the music they love.

In 2010, they signed a contract with a new record label at Wrensong/Reynsong Publishing where they re-established themselves—and they’ve been playing together again ever since!

Part of MTL’s new venture is traveling around the world with a mobile studio in search of famous tourist destinations where they can perform their music live.

The result is stunning videos like this one, where they typically do covers of famous songs (though they sometimes sing originals as well). Right now, these videos are getting more and more views and being appreciated all over the world. Even though they’ve already been through one round in the music business, the internet is definitely glad that they’re back for more!

In the kind and awe-inspiring words of Bob and Clint:

“Get outside, you never know where you’ll find yourself.”

They have proven that their perseverance and passion can definitely take you where you want to be.

Congratulations to these two on getting the band back together! Check out the full performance in the link below:
